J&K: Army traces location of terrorists, now preparing for major attack on terror

Srinagar: Security forces have cordoned off militants in the Poonch district of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. Security forces are continuing their encounter with terrorists in Bimbar Gali in Poonch. One JCO were injured while two soldiers were martyred in the encounter which continued since Thursday. The Army traced the location of the terrorists and launched a search operation. The operation is expected to be completed today i.e. October 15.

The army issued a statement informing about the serious injuries of two soldiers. The army is said to have traced the location of the terrorists and launched the operation, which is expected to be completed today.  The operation by security forces against the terrorists has been going on since October 14. It may be recalled that after the increase in terrorist activities in Jammu and Kashmir, security forces along with Jammu and Kashmir Police launched a counter-terrorist operation.

Five soldiers were killed in the army operation. The encounter took place in the forest of Chamarer. The army had also avenged it and killed six terrorists. Apart from the army's action, the militants had started targeting the common people. The army also changed its strategy when terrorists started targeting civilians.
