British PM and PM Modi talk on Kashmir issue

New Delhi: Global politics has been rocked since the Indian government removed Section 370 in Kashmir. Pakistan is leaving no stone unturned to internationalize it. So, the Government of India is consciously reaching out to all the powerful values of the world. In the same episode, PM Modi spoke to British Pm Boris Johnson over the phone on Tuesday. During the visit, Mr. Modi also raised the issue of violence against Indians participating in the Independence Day celebrations outside the Indian High Commission in London.

The Pm expressed concern over the violence and sabotage committed by mobs outside the High Commission as part of the agenda. During the visit, the two leaders also discussed Kashmir. British PM Janson has categorically stated that Kashmir is a bilateral issue between India and Pakistan. The two countries should find a solution through bilateral dialogue.

According to the PM's office, Johnson has described the case as tragic. He assured the Indian counterpart that necessary steps will be taken to strengthen the security of the High Commission, its employees and those who visit the country. During the visit, Modi also raised the issue of global terrorism. Earlier, Modi congratulated Johnson on his election as PM. British PM Johnson also congratulated Modi on becoming PM again. Earlier, the US had also called for a dialogue to resolve the issue.
