Srinagar: The government had imposed some strict restrictions after the removal of Section 370 in Kashmir. The Government has started to loosen these restrictions after seeing the normalization of the situation. However, with this, a series of terrorist incidents have also begun in the Valley. In the latest incident, terrorists opened fire late Thursday evening in Parimpora area. The terrorists also targeted residential areas in the exchange of fire. One civilian was killed. Police and security forces rushed to the spot after receiving information about the firing.

Security forces cordoned off the area and launched a search operation. However, there is no report of any terrorist being surrounded. Earlier on Thursday, The Pakistani army continued its nefarious activities along the Line of Control (LoC) and for the first time targeted the PHC (Primary Health Centre) at Dabraj, a village adjoining the Line of Control (LoC), along with Indian army posts in Mendhar, Balakot, Mankot, Krishna Valley. 

Heavy mortar shelling targeted residential areas. The firing stopped during the hour after the army's stiff resistance. Hundreds of children were trapped in dozens of schools along the Line of Control (LoC) when Pakistani troops suddenly started shelling on Thursday afternoon. which the teachers hid in the safe rooms of the schools. The children were sent home after the shelling. Pakistan is trying its best to create unrest in the valley.
