Jammu: The third phase of vaccination for corona infection is scheduled to begin on May 1. Due to this, corona vaccine will be given to all people in the age group of 18 to 45 years. Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has announced that corona vaccine will be given free of cost to all persons in the age group of 18 to 45 years in the state due to the third phase.
The same decision was taken on the run of a high-level meeting. The meeting was held at Raj Bhavan under the leadership of Lieutenant Governor which was attended by Chief Secretary BVR Subramanian, Financial Commissioner Arun Kumar Mehta, Principal Secretary to Governor Nitiswar Kumar among others. We are committed to providing free vaccines to all persons above 18 years of age in Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha said in the meeting. The government will bear all the costs of procurement of vaccines from the manufacturer. As part of the meeting, Manoj Sinha directed the officers to chalk out a comprehensive strategy for the upcoming vaccination drive.
