Jammu: A central reserve policeman in Jammu and Kashmir allegedly shot dead his wife at one of his relatives' homes on the outskirts of Jammu, after  that he shot himself dead. In the meantime, he also attack his sister-in-law. That seriously injured her. The police is currently investigating the matter.

A police officer said constable Madan Singh was stationed at the sector headquarters in Jammu. He took his service rifle on Saturday night and went to one of his relatives living in Ragore in the Ghrota area, where his Wife Deepti Rani was present from the east. According to the officer, the jawan's if had gone to the relative's house after the altercation with him. At around 10.30 p.m., when the young man's wife came out to open the door, the young man shot him and injured his sister. In addition, she also opened fire on her daughter, and she survived.

He also said that the young man later shot himself. That caused him to die. The dead bodies have been sent to the hospital for postmortem and treatment to the injured woman. The officer further said that the two bodies have been sent for postmortem. While his injured sister-in-law has been admitted to the hospital. A paramilitary officer said that the CRPF has started a departmental investigation into the incident. He said the jawan was a local resident of Jammu. With this, the investigation of the case is continuing.
