Jammu and Kashmir: DGP Dilbag Singh said 'terrorists were in hunt to target...'

New Delhi: Saturday night last night in Jammu and Kashmir, the security forces seized nearly seven kilos of RDX and thwarted a major terror conspiracy. On this, Jammu Kashmir DGP Dilbag Singh said that the terrorists were in the backdrop of the conspiracy for a major attack. Raghunath temple and bus stand was on target.

Giving information about the success achieved by the security forces, Dilbag Singh said that he was on high alert for the last three to four days. Pulwama was in Suraq for a major terrorist attack on Barsi. TRF Lashkar and Jaish-e-Mohammed formed organizations named Lashkar Mustafa. The commander in chief of both these organizations was captured. Hidayatullah was the chief of Lashkar Mustafa. He now wanted to make his base in Jammu. There were terrorists in Surak to build a network of arms from Bihar.

IG Jammu Mukesh Singh said, "A person named Suhail was detained on Saturday night. He had a bag containing 6.5 kg IED. He was supposed to go to Kashmir after the blast. He said that he was nursing in Chandigarh. A college student. He was ordered to place an IED from Al-Badar Tanjim, Pakistan. He was told 3-4 places to put an IED, including the Raghunath temple, bus stand, railway station, and Lakhdata Bazaar. He was to have an IED at any one place. It could have caused a huge explosion which was thwarted by the Jammu police." Along with this, he told that last night from Samba we have also seized 15 small IEDs and six pistols.
