Jammu: Kashmir has been under the grip of terrorism for a long time. Thousands of people have lost their lives in the Valley due to violence arising out of terrorism. The central government considered Section 370 to be a major impediment in the fight against terrorism. The government argues for the removal of Article 370. Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police Dilbag Singh visited Baton yesterday i.e. Sunday where three militants were killed on Saturday. The DGP said that the three slain terrorists were related to the murder of BJP leader Parihar Bandhu and Sangh leader Chandrakant Sharma.

Dilbag Singh said that the militants were trying to flee towards the Kashmir Valley due to the anti-terror action being carried out by the police and other security agencies in Kishtwar-Doda, but the soldiers foiled the nefarious plans of the militants and killed them. This is a huge success for security agencies. The DGP said that very soon the militancy in the Chenab Valley was completely eradicated, which led to the identification of the militants operating in the area, besides strict action against their allies.
