New Delhi: Today (PDP) Party chief Mehbooba Mufti will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the Capital Delhi. In matter of amidst the uncertainty of government formation in Jammu and Kashmir, People's Democratic. Mufti, who reached New Delhi yesterday for talks with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leadership, has called for a legislature party meeting on March 24.

Three months ago, since the death of chief minister Mufti Mohammed Sayeed the state is under Governor's rule. Mehbooba was in Delhi last week during which she held talks with BJP president Amit Shah. Omar Abdullah the former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir said to media that “"Mehbooba Mufti is rushing to Delhi is her last ditch effort to safe her party, because she has realised that if PDP doesn't form a government on terms and condition set by the BJP, her party will split.

If her party splits, she would be in much weaker position than she is today. Clearly she is trying to safe her party." However, the sources told that Mahbooba Mufti went to meet PM Modi and will discuss about collaboration of the duo parties.
