Jammu: High alert has been issued in the state on the completion of one year of Bhumipujan and removal of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir in Ramnagri Ayodhya to be held on August 5. Tight security has been made from the border to the internal security and national highway. It is suspected that the terrorists may knock a major attack on 5 August in Kashmir and other parts of the country. Security on the LoC and border has been increased by the Army and BSF here.

The national highway and internal security have been strengthened by the police. Paramilitary forces along with the police have been deployed on the link road connecting the international border and LoC to the national highway. Along with this, paramilitary forces along with the police have been deployed at all the points connecting these areas. Instructions have been given clearly that vehicles coming to the frontier areas should be searched in depth. Every visitor should be closely monitored. On the other hand, patrolling has been increased from BSF to Lakhanpur to Sunderbani at night time.

The spokesman of the Indian Army says that on the LoC of Rajori Poonch, the army is always alert all the time. There is no specific input on this to attack on 5 August in a panic but the terrorists are trying desperately to infiltrate the LoC. The army is fully alert and capable of stopping this. Security has also been strengthened at railway stations, airports, and main square-intersections of Jammu. The paramilitary forces are stationed at all places along with the police. The next two days will be very challenging for the police. For this, police officers have been asked to be present in their respective jurisdictions. Many arrangements have been given by the same police.
