J&k:Govt.has dismissed services of income official in Jammu

3rd May 2016: Jammu and Kashmir government has neat the discharge of a income official who was imprisoned in a corruption.

As per the officials, “Deputy Commissioner of Jammu, Simrandeep Singh on 2 May has ordered the dismissal of Mohammad Sohail Mir ,a Patwari with Revenue Department”

Mir, who was forwarded as Patwari Sehora, was caught by the Vigilance Organisation Jammu in February 2010 while demanding and long-suffering bribe from a local resident who was seeking attestation of his land records.

Charges were enclosed alongside the defendant by the Judicial Magistrate and in April, special judge anti-corruption held him guilty and awarded him simple custody for one year and a fine of Rs 5,000.

Next the judgement of the Anti-Corruption Court, the DC well-ordered the notice of the Patwari and direct.
