Jammu: The whole region of Kashmir has come under the grip of increasing cold and sheet wave day by day. At the same time, it is being said that life is affected by the icy winds. Here the temperature of day and night has come down. Most of the water bodies of Kashmir are covered with ice. Drass was the coldest with a minimum temperature of minus 30 degrees Celsius.

According to information received from the sources, the Srinagar-Leh National Highway and Mughal Road have not been able to open. There is a possibility of clear weather in most parts of Jammu and Kashmir. According to the meteorological center Srinagar, on Saturday, January 25, 2020, there may be rain and snowfall in some parts of the state. With this, rain and snowfall are expected from 27 to 29 January.

According to the Meteorological Department, night temperatures in most districts of Kashmir have dropped by 5-7 degrees above normal. At the same time woes have increased due to the cold winds. Leh, Pahalgam and Gulmarg are freezing cold. Day temperature in Leh is also zero (0.0) degrees Celsius. Weather was feeding in Jammu division.
