NEW DELHI: National Security Adviser Ajit Doval, who is a key face to end Section 370 from Jammu and Kashmir, is back in Delhi on Friday. The NSA Doval stood in Kashmir for 11 days after the removal of the section. He used to meet the concerned security officers every morning and evening with senior administrative officers and take inputs. He would take all of them to their views on the status of their jurisdiction and finalize the Short Term and Long Term Action Plan based on the immediate circumstances to maintain the law and order situation. He had arrived in Kashmir on the 6th of August.

During his visit to Kashmir, he also visited shopian in South Kashmir, known as the stronghold of terrorists. He met the security forces besides the locals. He also visited Anantnag, Kulgam and Pampore. He also visited Baramulla in North Kashmir. In the summer capital, the strongholds of separatists and stone-pelters also swirled in different parts of the down-town without any security cover. He interacted with the local youth on the current situation and the decision of the central government.

Ajit Doval, besides attending separate meetings with the police, CRPF, senior officers of the Army posted in Kashmir, also addressed their joint meetings and instructed the security agencies to try to avoid civilian loss in any case. The Government has banned many things due to security.
