Srinagar: Local political parties in Jammu and Kashmir will oppose any move by the central government that tampers with the present state. The political parties have taken a unanimous decision to oppose any such move unitedly. That change would be an attack against the people by abolishing Article 35A and 370, unconstitutional delimitation and dividing the State into three parts of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh. ''

The resolution was adopted at the meeting as the meeting was held in Gupkar area of Srinagar. During the meeting, political parties have urged India and Pakistan not to take any step that increases tensions in the country. He also appealed to the people of the state to maintain peace.
