The situation in Jammu and Kashmir seems to be deteriorating. Amidst all this, Home Minister Amit Shah will hold a crucial meeting today to discuss the latest situation in Jammu and Kashmir. On the other hand, Kashmiri Pandits today spoke of mass exodus against the targeted killing by the terrorists. Terrorists have killed 10 people here in the last 26 days. An organisation called Kashmir Freedom Fighters has claimed responsibility for the murder of bank manager Vijay Kumar in the past few days. Its spokesman Waseem Mir issued a statement threatening that this will be the fate of trying to change the population of Kashmir. Let me tell you all that innocent people are being killed in Jammu and Kashmir on the day they come.

Even now, the situation is not good here and the murder of a resident and bank manager of Rajasthan here some time ago has been very sad and worrisome. However, there is already an atmosphere of panic here. The Central Government should take strict action against such guilty elements, this is the demand of the BSP. After the killing of bank manager Vijay Kumar Beniwal by terrorists in Kashmir today, Vijay Kumar's body reached his village Bhagwan village of Nohar in Hanumangarh in the morning. On seeing the ambulance here, the whole village became sad and the crying of the family members became bad.

In Kulgam in Kashmir, terrorists entered the bank and killed the bank manager Vijay. On the other hand, the killings in Jammu and Kashmir have alarmed the people who work there from other states. Many people are now leaving the valley. Amit Kaul, who works in Srinagar, says, "Just yesterday, four murders took place. 30-40 families have left the city. Our demand is not being met. Their (government's) safe places are only in the cities.''
