J&K: Body of a terrorist mysteriously found, police begins investigation

Srinagar: The body of a terrorist was found late on Sunday night at Soura in Srinagar, Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. It is speculated that terrorist organizations were killed during clashes. According to police, the mysterious body belongs to active terrorist Amir Ahmed. The case is under investigation.

Earlier, a major terror attack took place in Sopore in the Valley on Saturday. Two policemen were killed in the attack. According to reports, an ordinary citizen was also killed. The terrorists had attacked a joint team of police and CRPF. Recently, a councillor named Rakesh Pandita was shot dead by terrorists in Tral, Jammu and Kashmir. According to reports, the councillor was given 2 PSO of security, but he went to Tral without his safety and the accident took place with him.

The incident reportedly took place on Wednesday night, June 2, when a BJP leader was killed by terrorists in Tral in South Kashmir's Pulwama district. Rakesh was admitted to a nearby private hospital in a critical condition immediately after the accident. But he succumbed to his injuries during treatment and died. Police have been in action since the incident. Efforts are on to nab the terrorists.
