Srinagar: In view of the outbreak of Coronavirus infection, Jammu and Kashmir Wildlife Department have banned the entry of people in all such parks of Kashmir including Dhachigam National Wildlife Park. This directive was issued when the news came that the coronavirus infection from humans to animals has arrived in New York.

In an advisory issued by the department, it has been written that the movement of people in the forest or wildlife area has been banned due to coronavirus because there can be an infection from humans to animals. Action will be taken against those who do not comply with the order. The wildlife department has also asked its employees to take full care while going to the park. Apart from this, the staff who take care of wild animals have been told that if any symptoms of coronavirus are seen in any animal, then immediately the authorities should be informed.

Special suits and gloves have also been provided to all the people taking care of and living in the National Park so that no infection can reach the animals in Srinagar Park. Apart from this, all security arrangements have been made.
