2 killed, 700 in custody! Swift action continues in J&K after killing of Hindus-Sikhs

Srinagar: Security forces have started eliminating terrorists in the ongoing operation against terrorists in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. Today (October 11, 2021) Two terrorists were reported to have piled up early in the morning. One was killed in the Verinag area of the Anantnag district and the other was killed at Shahgund in Bandipora. At the same time, in view of the recent incidents, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) is also conducting raids in the Valley. He has arrested 3 in view of the hand of the ISIS team behind a jihadist magazine and in connection with the IED seizure case.

According to media reports, an unidentified terrorist was killed in an encounter between security forces and militants in Anantnag late on Sunday night. One policeman was also injured in the operation. Kashmir zone police said the operation against the militants is still going on. After Anantnag, an encounter has also started in Bandipora. Police said an encounter broke out at Hajin in Bandipora this morning in which one terrorist was gunned down. It has been identified as Imtiaz Ahmed Dar. He was associated with the banned terror group The Resistance Front, a branch of the terror group Lashkar-e-Taiba. Dar was involved in the recent killing of civilians at Shahgund in Bandipora.


On the one hand, the security forces are continuously carrying out operations against the terrorists and finishing them. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) conducted raids at several places in Jammu and Kashmir in search of an ISIS team running the online magazine Voice of Hind. Searches were conducted at several places in the Union Territory with the help of CRPF. The raids were carried out in Srinagar, Anantnag, Kulgam and Baramulla. Police have arrested 70 youths from Srinagar while the number of people detained from all over the state has reached 700.
