Srinagar: A militant has been killed in an encounter with security forces on Monday in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir, along with information about the injuries of a soldier. Giving information on Tuesday, official sources said that the militants opened fire on an army patrol in Arvani, Anantnag on Monday evening, in which a soldier was injured.

The injured jawan was admitted to the Army's 92 Base Hospital for treatment. According to sources, later additional army personnel reached the spot and started a search operation by sieging the entire area. During this time the terrorists fired again. Giving information, sources said that the army also retaliated, due to which a terrorist named Shaheed Ahmed, who lives in Khudwani, was killed.

This is the fourth incident of an encounter between security forces and militants in the last two weeks in South Kashmir. Let us tell you that since the removal of Article 370 of the Constitution giving special status to Jammu and Kashmir, terrorists have been furious and are plotting a continuous attack, while the army is also carrying out a search operation.
