Srinagar: Corona is wreaking havoc across the country. It is unfortunate that in this tough time also few people are not cooperating and if the corona warriors go to the people then they are also victims of attack. One such case has come to light from Shangs in Jammu and Kashmir.

Health workers who came for screening in this area of South Kashmir were attacked by people and beat them up. In this context, the CMO of the district has also submitted a report to DC and has demanded strict action against the attackers. It is worth mentioning that this is not the first case of this kind, even before there have been cases of misconduct with health workers in the valley.

According to the information, a team from the health department had arrived for screening of the corona virus in Shangsa. When the people saw them, they were furious. Some beat him and chased him. When the team left from there, they informed the CMO about this. A video in this context has also gone viral on social media. It is clearly seen that women health workers are running away and they are also being slapped by people. At the same time CMO Dr. Mukhtar says that this is not the first case. People in the Red Zone Kharpora have also done the same to health workers.
