Kupwara: After the removal of Section 370 of the Constitution from Jammu and Kashmir, the people of the Valley have started to welcome the Modi government's decision. Those who have been silent on the fear of politics and terror have now started speaking openly that they have not benefited so far because of Section 370 and Article 35A. They said they want employment and bread. The government should focus on these two things now.
Farooq Ahmed Sophie, a businessman at Handwara in Jammu and Kashmir, said that since 1947, we have only shown dreams. We can't even ask for what has been given by the Central Government for the voice here, which has been in the pockets of the people. No one has been in power in Jammu and Kashmir, they have only suppressed us. Ahmed Sophie said there are huge corruption and unemployment in Jammu and Kashmir. The Central Government should focus on these things.
Farooq Ahmed Lone on Sections 370 and 35A says that these meant neither the voice of Jammu and Kashmir nor today. To date, we have not benefited. What benefits will we get from removing Section 370 from the State will be known in the future. He said we believe that blind needs two eyes and hungry, two loaves, that is our issue.
