J&K police arrest 5 terror associates for major breakthrough

Avantipora: Five accomplices of terrorists have been arrested in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday. Jammu and Kashmir police said that five terror assistants have been taken to rest in the case of pasting threatening posters in Ser and Batagund villages of Tral. As per the information furnished by the police, some posters of the terrorist outfit were found in the Seer and Batagund villages of Tral area on 13th January 2021.

In the case of the said incident, FIR No. 04/2021 has been registered under the sections of the unlawful Activities Act in police station Tral. Thereafter, the investigation began. During the investigation, the investigation team raided several places and arrested several suspects. Police said, during the interrogation of suspects and other evidence, 5 terror accomplices were found involved in pasting threatening posters in The Seer and Batagund area. He was immediately arrested.

The arrested accused have been identified as Jehangir Ahmad Parray, Aijaz Ahmad Parray, Towseef Ahmad Lone, Sabzar Ahmad Bhat, and Qaisar Ahmad Dar. They are all residents of Gulshanpora Tral. Apart from laptops and a printer, police have also recovered posters.
