Srinagar: Security forces have achieved great success in Doda district of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. Based on intelligence inputs, the army and police have conducted a joint operation and arrested two overground workers (OGW) from the Doda district. The army and police have arrested a suspect from Doda district on suspicion and he has been lodged in Bhadrawah jail.

The name of the person who has been caught is being told as Farid Ahmed Naik. Farid Kot Balwal was in touch with some other terrorists caught in the jail, who were using virtual numbers for communication through WhatsApp. A person named Ghulam Hussain of Gundana (Doda) has been arrested for being in touch with terrorist masters based in Pakistan and providing them logistics support and information as well as receiving money from Pakistan through Dubai.

The man is currently lodged in Bhadrawah jail and is being questioned. This has dealt a major blow to Pakistan-based terror attacks' efforts to revive terrorism in the Doda region. Meanwhile, security forces killed three terrorists in an encounter in the Jolva Kralpora Chadura area of Budgam. The slain terrorists belonged to Jaish-e-Mohammed.
