Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir police are preparing to crack down on cyber terrorists, also known as 'white-collar jihadists' and because in the eyes of the police, they are the "worst terrorists" who remain anonymous, but they cause great harm by influencing the thinking of the youth. This information was given by the officials here.

According to an assessment provided by Director General of Jammu and Kashmir Police Dilbagh Singh, senior military officers, and security establishment officials, there is a fear that these "white-collar jihadists" may incite communal riots or provoke some youths through false and fake news on social media. The battlefield is new, where traditional weapons and narrow lanes and forest battlefields have been replaced by computers and smartphones to provoke riots from their homes or streets from Kashmir or anywhere outside, at their convenience.

A senior army official dubbed him a 'white-collar jihadist,' who confuses the youth and the general public by spreading confusion on social media and distorting the situation conducive to separatists or terrorist organizations. Jammu and Kashmir police have recently arrested five suspected 'white-collar jihadists' who were involved in spreading lies about the country's sovereignty.
