Jammu: Director General of Jammu and Kashmir Police Dilbagh Singh said that the initial investigation suggests that the terror outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba is involved in the drone blast at Jammu Air Force Station. Dilbagh Singh also said that it seems that RDX was used for the blast.

"The drone used for the blast at the Air Force Station is likely to have operated from across the border," the Jammu and Kashmir DGP said. We are also looking into these aspects whether there was no local support. The explosion was very powerful, I went there myself today and inspected it. He said drones are a big challenge.

Police seized 5 kg of IED in Jammu on the day of the drone blast. "We had a great success," said Dilbagh Singh, DGP. Investigations revealed that the targets were railway stations and crowded areas and that IED was also sent from Pakistan by the terror outfit Lashkar. In Kashmir, five terrorists were killed in an encounter between security forces and terrorists in Pulwama on Friday. A District Commander of Lashkar and a Pakistani terrorist were also killed. Talking about the action, DGP said that we are constantly working against terror and we hope that terror will be eliminated from Jammu and Kashmir soon.
