Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir administration has sacked two employees. They have been identified as Feroz Ahmed Lone and Javed Ahmed Shah. Lone was holding the post of Deputy Superintendent of Jail. Javed Shah was principal at Bijbehara Government Girls Higher Secondary School in the Anantnag district. Under the guise of government service, the two were engaged in helping terrorists and promoting jihad. For this reason, he has been discharged under Article 311(2)(C) of the Constitution.

According to the report, Javed Ahmed Shah was appointed as a lecturer in the education department in 1989. After getting the promotion, he became the principal of the school in Bijbehara. He was working as an overground worker of the terrorists. At the same time, he is a staunch supporter of jamaat Islamic and Hurriyat. He played a major role in the violent protests in the Valley after terrorist Burhan Wani was gunned down in 2016. He was also involved in implementing Hurriyat's striking calendar in institutions including his school. He also taught jihadist education to school girls. His physical education was banned because he considered it against Islam. During his address at the school, he often justified the terrorists and encouraged the girl students to adopt radical ideology.

Feroz Ahmed Lone, who was dismissed from service along with Javed Shah, was reinstated in government service in 2007-08. During his posting as Deputy Superintendent in the Jail Department in 2012, he used his post to help the terrorists. He used to arrange a meeting with the overground workers of the jailed terrorists. The report said he was an active member of the terror outfit Hizbul Mujahideen and also helped send several youths to Ghulam Kashmir for terror training. He worked for Riaz Naiku, commander of the Hizbul Mujahideen. Nayaku was killed in May 2020.
