Srinagar: In Jammu and Kashmir, local police and security forces are campaigning against terrorists. Encounter of terrorists is happening daily in some areas of Kashmir. On Saturday, security forces had an encounter with terrorists in Kulgam of Kashmir. Information is being received about the death of two terrorists in this encounter.

According to the information received, security forces and Jammu and Kashmir Police personnel were conducting a search operation on Saturday. During this time, there was an encounter with the terrorists. Security forces killed two terrorists in an encounter. However, two security personnel have also been injured in this encounter. The operation of the security forces was going on till the news was written. It is noteworthy that the security forces have launched a campaign against the terrorists in the valley. On Saturday, security forces busted the terrorist base in the Thanamandi area of Rajouri district. During the search operation, the security forces recovered a large amount of arms and ammunition from the terrorist hideout.

Recently, the Jammu and Kashmir Police declared the Doda district as terror-free. From January to June, 118 terrorists have been piled up in the first six months of this year. In the month of June itself, security forces have killed 38 terrorists.
