Srinagar: There is an atmosphere of peace in Jammu and Kashmir after the abrogation of Section 370. The local administration has sent a report to the Ministry of Home Affairs. According to the report, Eid-ul-Azha was celebrated on Monday in all regions of Jammu and Kashmir. Giving details in the report, the Jammu and Kashmir administration has informed the Home Ministry that 7000 people visited different mosques in Bandipora and worshipped.

In Baramulla, 10000 in Baramula, 3000 in Trehgam, 3500 in Kupwara, 3000 in Shopian, 1800 in Pulwama, 2500 in Avantipura, 11500 in Kulgam, 3000 in Anantnag, 7000 in Ganderbal and 13,000 in Badgaon. In the prayers of the goats were offered. In Jammu, 5000 people visited various mosques and worshipped.

About 2.5 lakh sheep and goats were purchased during the period.
