Jammu: A major terror plot in Jammu and Kashmir failed a day before Independence Day. Jammu and Kashmir Police have busted the Module of Jaish. Police have arrested four terrorists. The terrorists had conspired to attack Independence Day using motorcycle IEDs. But it failed with the help of the police.

The same security forces in Jammu and Kashmir are continuously conducting operations against the terrorists. Under this, Jammu Police has arrested four Jaish terrorists and their associates. They were conspiring to collect the weapons dropped from the drones and transport them to the active Jaish terrorists in the Valley. The men were also on the lookout for an IED attack in the vehicle before August 15. Simultaneously, the target was being tracked in other districts of the country as well.

The same police have first taken Muntajir Manzoor into custody. He hails from Pulwama and is a Jaish-based man. Police have recovered a pistol, a magazine, and 8 rounds of cartridges, two Chinese hand grenades from Muntajir. He was using the truck to carry the weapon, it was also seized. Thereafter, three more terrorists were arrested. The first of them is Izahar Khan alias Sonu Khan. Sonu is a resident of Kandala in Shamli in UP. Sonu said he was asked by Pakistan Jaish commander Munajir Khan to collect weapons from Amritsar which were dropped from drones.
