At the same time, PDP supremo and former CM Mehbooba Mufti has targeted the central government for giving voting rights to outsiders in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. Speaking in the Pakistani language, Mehbooba said that the central government is engaged in snatching everything from the people of Jammu and Kashmir. She said that earlier the Center snatched 370 in an unconstitutional manner and is engaged in bringing voters through the backdoor. Mehbooba said in the press conference that BJP will abolish the Constitution after 2024. 

Let us tell you that assembly elections can be held in Jammu and Kashmir this year. Earlier, the Election Commission made a big announcement and said that outsiders can also include their names in the voter list. Jammu and Kashmir Chief Electoral Officer Hridesh Kumar said that non-Kashmiri people residing in the state can vote by getting their names included in the voter list. For this, they do not need a residence certificate.
