Srinagar: The body of a police sub-inspector of the Jammu and Kashmir Police has been recovered from a paddy field. SI has been murdered. It is being said that the terrorists have committed this crime. After seeing the body, it is being speculated that SI was taken to a deserted place by kidnapping, then shot and killed and the corpse was thrown away. At the moment, local police have reached the spot. The body has been taken into custody and sent for post-mortem.

Police said that evidence is being collected from the spot. The deceased SI(M) has been identified as Farooq Ahmad Mir son of Ab Gani Mir resident Sambura Pampore. Police said the si's body was found lying in a paddy field in the Sambura. Farooq was currently posted as OSI in 23 BN IRP at Lethpora. Initially, a wound of a bullet mark has been found near the heart. Let us know that two days ago, in Anantnag, terrorists had attacked the security forces with grenades. One young man was injured in it. The incident took place in the Padshahi Bagh area. The injured police jawan was identified as Ahmadullah and was a head constable.
