Two years killed in an encounter in Srinagar, one soldier martyred

Srinagar: Two terrorists were surrounded in an ongoing encounter between militants by security forces in Srinagar, the capital of Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, on Monday night. After which news is now coming that both the terrorists have been killed by security forces on Tuesday afternoon. However, one soldier was killed in the encounter, while four are said to be injured.

According to media reports, the slain terrorists were Junaid Sehrai, son of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat president Ashraf Sehrai. Along with this, the security forces have also piled one of his companions. Let me tell you that this is the first time after two years, when such an encounter has happened in Srinagar. Earlier there was an encounter in Karan Nagar. As a precaution, all mobile internet and all mobile telephone services have been suspended except BSNL postpaid service in the city.

According to the information received, the security forces started a search operation when there was no firing from the terrorists. Meanwhile some mischievous elements took to the streets to help the terrorists escape from the encounter site. They have started throwing stones at security forces. In order to gain control over mischievous elements, the security forces have called additional soldiers on the spot.
