Jammu: A accused,who involved in more than half a dozen involving extortion, attempt to murder has been detained beneath the stringent Public Safety Act.
Police officer added saying that, “Tajinder Singh, a resident of Simbal Camp, was detained under PSA on the order issued by District Magistrate (DM) Jammu, Simranjeet Singh, yesterday”
The criminal was involved in several criminal cases registered at different police stations over the state, the police officer said, adding Tajinder has been lodged in the Jammu jail.
