On the last night, as the police said, “Suspected Maoists snatched walkie-talkies from railway personnel in Ghatsila sub-division of Jharkhand last night”

Sanjeev Besra, who is the Ghatsila Sub-Divisional Police officer said, “the masked Maoists looted four walkie-talkies from the driver, assistant driver, coach guard and from the office of the assistant station master of Kokpara at around 10 PM soon after the train stopped at the station”.

Sanjeev just after getting the information ,quickly rushed to the spot , he further said that , “ultras assaulted the assistant station master before they looted a walkie-talkie from his offic”

He declined claims that, “ the driver M R Nikkar was abducted and released after some time.”

Before the train left for its onging journey,it was trapped for about 2 hours, he added.
