Mumbai: The Uddhav government seemed angry over BJP workers taking out a Jan Ashirvad Yatra in Maharashtra's capital Mumbai and the government has been substantial. According to the information received, not one or two but 7 FIRs have been registered against BJP workers for taking out a yatra in the city. The activists are said to have been accused of violating corona protocols in the cases.

Let me tell you that an FIR has been registered against the activists at Vile Parle, Kherwadi, Mahim, Shivaji Park, Dadar, Chembur, and Govandi police stations in Mumbai. It is also being said that the police have not arrested anyone so far. Let me tell you that the Jan Ashirvad Yatra was organized in Mumbai in support of Union Minister Kapil Patil. Several hundred BJP workers had joined the yatra on August 16 and welcomed the Union Minister to different parts of the city. A large number of BJP workers were present during the visit and many people did not wear masks during this period. This is what has been termed as a violation of corona rules.

At the same time, social dispensing was not followed in the yatra. In view of all this, Mumbai Police has registered cases against BJP workers. According to the information received, an official of the Kopri police station had said in the case that "the organizers had not even taken the permission of the police for Jan Ashirvad Yatra. Police have registered a case against BJP workers under Sections 188, 269, 270, etc. Police also said that Rs 1 lakh was also stolen from a man during the event.''
