The couple who making their debut Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan attended the 48th edition of International Film Festival of India (IFFI 2017) in Goa on November 20, along with her parents, actress Sridevi and filmmaker Boney Kapoor. On Twitter, Sridevi posted pictures with her husband and Janhvi. Stunning in a Sabyasachi saree and elegant jewellery, Sridevi posed with her daughter, who looked beautiful in an Anamika Khanna lehenga choli.
Janhvi is considerably busy as she will soon begin work on her debut Bollywood project Dhadak, which is being handled by Karan Johar and directed by Shashank Khaitan. Dhadak also marks Shahid Kapoor's half brother Ishaan Khatter's debut and is an official remake of 2016 Marathi blockbuster Sairaat. Three posters of Dhadak released last week to stratospheric interest levels with the film trending almost throughout the week. Dhadak will begin filming in December and is scheduled to release on July 6, 2018.
Ishaan Khatter, in the meantime, also features in Iranian director Majid Majidi's Beyond the Clouds, which was screened at the opening ceremony. Beyond the Clouds also co-stars Malavika Mohanan. As far as IFFI is concerned, the opening ceremony of the festival was held at Goa's Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Indoor Stadium while celebrities including Shah Rukh Khan, Shahid Kapoor, Sridevi, AR Rahman, Anupam Kher, Nitesh Tiwari, Prasoon Joshi, Rajkummar Rao and Radhika Apte attended.Â
