Janhvi Kapoor is one of the most loved actresses in Bollywood.  The actress is usually compared with her mom Sridevi. Sridevi died in 2018 due to accidental drowning in a Dubai hotel. While her last film was Mom, she also made a cameo appearance in Zero.

Janhvi Kapoor in a recent interview opens up on the Stardom of Sridevi. The actress said, “I don’t think anyone will come close to my mother’s stardom. I wasn’t there when she was shooting and at her peak because I was born after she took a break from the movies. But, of course, I got a sense of it, with people speaking so passionately about her films, performances, the kind of person she was on set, her contribution… I think it’s rare and doesn’t happen twice. It’s just once-in-a-lifetime.”

Janhvi Kapoor is busy filming Mr and Mrs Mahi with Rajkummar Rao. She recently posted some stunning pictures of herself from the Jagat Shiromani Temple of Rajasthan. Janhvi's debut film Dhadak was shot at the same location. Looking pretty as ever, Janhvi can be seen exploring the picturesque location in a baby pink kurta set. “5 years later, back here. Dhadak (rightwards sign) Mr And Mrs Mahi.”

On the work front, Janhvi Kapoor was last seen in Good Luck Jerry, which premiered on Disney+Hotstar this July. The actress will be next seen in Mili, Bawaal and Mr And Mrs Mahi. Sridevi’s younger daughter Khushi Kapoor will also seen make her debut with Zoya Akhtar's Netflix film The Archies.
