The shocking demise of legendary actress Sridevi has put India in a deep grief. She took her last breath on 24 February 2018, in Dubai. Her ashes were immersed in Rameshwaram and in Ganga at Haridwar.

According to the reports, a prayer meeting for the actress will be held in Chennai, where her career took a flight. As per the reports, this meeting will happen on March 11 at Hotel Crowne Plaza in Adayar.

It is also said that Boney, along with daughters Janhvi and Khushi will be attending this meet.

Rumors also suggest that her friends from the Tamil film industry are expected to make an appearance for the prayer meeting to bid goodbye to the actress. 

Recently, a condolence meeting was held in Hyderabad. Actresses Jayasudha, Jaya Prada, Amala Akkineni, Nivetha Thomas, actors Jagapati Babu, Rajashekar, Krishnam Raju and singer P Susheela were among the few who offered their condolences and reminisced about the times they worked with the late actress.

The Kapoor family is having a tough time coping with the loss. Recently, Janhvi celebrated her birthday along with her family and cousins in Mumbai.

Sridevi Kapoor was an Indian actress and film producer who starred in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada films. Regarded as one of Indian cinema's biggest female superstars, she was the recipient of two Filmfare Awards and three Filmfare Awards South.  Sridevi ranked among the highest-paid actors in the 1980s and 1990s and is considered to be one of the most popular actresses of Indian cinema.
