The festival of Janmashtami coming every year is going to come this year also. This year this festival is going to come on 12 August. Today we are going to tell you something unique. It is said that one should never see Shri Krishna's back. By doing this, a person becomes a partner of sin. There is a popular story behind not seeing Lord Krishna's back which today we are going to tell you. Let's know

Mythology - When Sri Krishna was fighting with Jarasandha, demon Kalayavan, a fellow of Jarasandh also came to fight with God. When Kalayavan reached in front of Shri Krishna and started to shout. Then Shri Krishna escaped from there and due to his escape from the battlefield, he got his name Ranchod. There was a reason for Krishna to run away from there. Shri Krishna knew that his Sudarshan cannot spoil Kalayavan. The virtues of Kalayavan's past lives were immense. Second, Krishna does not punish anyone until the force of virtue remains. When Krishna left battlefield and started running away, Kalayavan started running on his back and similarly his iniquity increased. It is said that iniquity dwells on the back of God, and by seeing it, unrighteousness increases.

When Kalayavan's virtue ended, Krishna went to a cave where the king named Muchukunda was under sleeplessness. Muchukund had the boon of Devraj Indra that whoever wakes the king with blasphemy and he will be burnt as soon as he sees it. Krishna went to the cave and hoisted one of his clothes to Muchukunda. After this, Kalayavan raised Muchukund as Krishna and the demon was burnt as soon as the king saw him. For this reason, it is said that Lord Krishna's back should not be seen, because it reduces virtue and causes unrighteousness to grow.
