PM Modi is scheduled to address the nation on the 30th of this month in his monthly radio programme 'Mann Ki Baat'  on the death anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. PM Modi will first pay homage to Gandhiji and then he will join the 'Mann Ki Baat' programme through radio. This has been reported recently by the Prime Minister's Office. Let me tell you all that the address can be seen on PM Modi's official YouTube channel. Doordarshan will also telecast it live. You must be aware that 'Mann Ki Baat' is the Prime Minister's monthly radio programme which airs on the last Sunday of every month.

In fact, until now, the programme always started at 11 o'clock, although it has now been changed. This time it will start at 11.30 p.m. Let me tell you that PM Modi started this programme after coming to power in 2014 in which he talks to the people of the country on various issues. PM had mentioned Captain Varun Singh who was injured in the Tamil Nadu plane crash in the previous episodes of the 'Mann Ki Baat' programme. He later passed away at a Bengaluru hospital. Pm spoke of Captain Varun Singh's letter for children. At the same time, the PM recalled all those who passed away in the accident, including CDS General Bipin Rawat.

During that time, PM Modi had said, "My dear countrymen, during the Battle of Mahabharata, Lord Krishna had said to Arjuna, 'Nabh Sprishan Deeptam',  which means, touching the sky with pride. This is also the motto of the Indian Air Force. One such life was that of Group Captain Varun Singh. Varun Singh also fought the death for several days, but then he too left us. Varun Singh was flying the helicopter that met with an accident in Tamil Nadu. In that accident, we lost many heroes including the country's first CDS General Bipin Rawat and his wife. ’
