Today, there are many strange customs which people adopt. There is something similar in Japan. A peculiar event is celebrated on Honshu, an island in Japan. Thousands of youth come to participate in this program without wearing clothes. This program is also known as the Naked Festival. Let us tell you that every year in Japan, we celebrate this unique festival on the third Saturday of February.

According to the sources associated with this festival, this festival is known as Hadaka Matsuri and this festival is called the special tradition of Japan. In this tradition, all men run around the temple and purify themselves by bathing with cold water. After that, they go inside the temple and worship. Thousands of men take part in this festival and during the program, boys appear in minimal clothing, not only that, most of the men are seen wearing Japanese loincloth. On this day, youngsters of Japan purify themselves and also play a unique game during this time.

It is said that at the end of this program, men have to find lucky sticks and these sticks are thrown with 100 bundles of the temple's priests. There is a race among thousands of youngsters to find 2 lucky sticks, and in the end, for two lucky sticks who get, the coming year proves to be lucky. By the way, many people are also injured in this festival but still become part of it.
