Japan temperature rises to 40 degrees, 26 dead, 12,000 in hospital

In Japan, the temperature of July reached nearly 40 degrees due to the tremendous heat wave, so far 26 people have died, out of which 11 elderly people have died on Saturday itself. Apart from this, more than 12 thousand people have to be hospitalized due to the severe heat in the first two weeks of July. The Meteorological Department has warned in most areas to reach the temperature and worse.

Japan's fire and disaster management department said that 12 people died due to heatstroke in the second week ended July 15, while three people died in the first week. The Kyodo News Agency said that on Saturday alone, 11 elderly people were hit by the heatstroke and they died. The Meteorological Department says no signs of improvement in the weather are yet to be received. 

Instructions to the schools were given after the death of the child. The Ministry of Education has also been active after the death of a six-year-old child due to a heatstroke while going to school last week. The Ministry has instructed the schools to close out outdoor activities till the time the weather improves. 

233 monitoring centres have been created to monitor the temperature in the country. The maximum temperature of 35 degrees was recorded on Sunday, mostly by the centres recorded at 39.8-degree record temperature in the middle of Guo city in the middle of 37 degrees. In Tokyo, parts of Tokyo had a terrible impact in the afternoon.
