Japanese artist Haruma Miura has committed suicide under suspicious circumstances. He was found dead on 18 July i.e. today. He was born in 1990 in the city of Tsuchiura in Ibukaki Prefecture, northeast of Tokyo. He started his career by becoming a member of a theater group at the age of just 4 years. After which he furthered his career as a child artist in 1997. Haruma Miura was seen in the broadcaster NHK's drama series "Agri". He has also received the Japan Academy Film Award for his outstanding performance in the 2007 film "Koizora".
In 2011, he featured in the Fuji Television Network Inc.'s weekly drama series "Taisetsu Na Koto wa Subet Kimi Ga Oshiete Kureta". He won the award for Outstanding Performance in a Film. Hariom Sugimura Award was also named after him. He has starred in the Broadway film "Kinky Boots" which came out in 2017.
Miura was working to host the NHK travelogue series. He also appeared in the film adaptation of the drama series "The Confidential JP", which was released on the evening of 18 July. The sequel to the film was planned to be released on 23 July.
