New Delhi: Tiktok can take entry once again in India. It is being told that the Japanese company Softbank can purchase Indian business of Tiktok. According to sources, therefore, it is also looking for an Indian partner and it is also in discussions with Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel.

It is noteworthy that in July, the Indian government banned 58 Chinese apps, including TikTok, citing national security and privacy. It was feared that the company was sharing the information of consumers with the Chinese government. Tik Tok is banned in the US as well and there are many tech companies trying to buy its business. TikTok already has a partnership with Japanese group SoftBank in Chinese parent company BiteDance.

According to Bloomberg, it has started an exercise to buy TikTok's Indian business and talks are on to partner Reliance Jio Infocomm and Bharti Airtel. However, Jio and Airtel have categorically refused to give any statement on this. SoftBank is also exploring other options. Let us know that Japanese company SoftBank has invested in many startups like Ola Cabs, Snapdeal, OYO Hotels in India. Earlier in August, there was also speculation that Reliance could buy Tiktok's Indian business.
