Power Rangers Actor Jason David Frank passes away at the age of 49

One of the renowned and popular Hollywood star, Jason David Frank popularly known as the Green Power Ranger Tommy Oliver, passes away at the age of  49. Jason David Frank, who played the Green Power Ranger Tommy Oliver on the 1990s children's series Mighty Morphin Power Rangers is very famous for his roles.

 David’s power Rangers co-star Walter E Jones verified the news on Instagram, stating that he can't believe it.  RIP Jason David Frank. He also expressed his sadness at losing another member of their precious family. He wrote on Instagram, that he couldn't believe it. “My heart is sad to have lost another member of our special family," wrote Jones. Thuy Trang, who played the original Yellow Power Ranger, died in a car accident in 2001 at age 27.

Justine Hunt, Frank's manager, also shared an official statement Sunday that Frank passed away.  His manager did not name the cause of death or say when he died, but asked for “privacy of his family and friends during this horrible time as we come to terms with the loss of such a wonderful human being.”

On the career front, Jason David Frank played Tommy Oliver in the first run of the programme, which lasted from August 28, 1993, to November 27, 1995. It aired for three seasons and had a total of 145 episodes. TMZ earlier reported that Frank's second wife, Tammie Frank, filed for divorce from him in August. Frank is survived by four children; one from his marriage with Tammie Frank and three from his first marriage to Shawna Frank.
