Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is currently making the most headlines. In fact, she made a statement in the past and her statement has so far been a part of the discussions. In fact, Kangana had said during a TV program, 'In 1947, there was no freedom, there was begging and the freedom that has been achieved was achieved in the year 2014. Kangana has been facing severe criticism for her statement. Lyricist Javed Akhtar has now reacted to Kangana Ranaut's statement.

He has tweeted a tweet that is currently fast going viral on social media. You can see Javed Akhtar wrote, "Her whole story can be understood very well. Why would those who had nothing to do with the freedom movement feel bad if someone (one) calls our freedom just a 'begging'?'' However, many Bollywood people, as well as political leaders, have hit out at Kangana for her remarks. A police complaint has also been lodged against the actress. Speaking about it to a well-known website, Kangana said, "Congress is an extension of British rule and India achieved 'real freedom' after Narendra Modi was elected prime minister in 2014.

Kangana Ranaut can be heard saying, 'In 1947, there was no freedom, only begging, and the freedom that has been achieved was achieved in the year 2014. On the other hand, Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) Swati Maliwal urged President Ram Nath Kovind to withdraw Kangana's Padma Shri. In fact, she said, "The actress' statements reflect her hatred for our great freedom fighters like Mahatma Gandhi, Bhagat Singh, and countless others who laid down their lives for the nation! We all know that the sacrifice and martyrdom of our great freedom fighters gave our country freedom from British rule''.
