Recently, famous lyricist and screenwriter Javed Akhtar has once again tweeted that he has become a part of the headlines. Recently, he has advised to stop using loudspeakers for Azaan in view of problems faced by others. He said this in his tweet on Saturday night.

After this tweet, a debate broke out on social media and people are fiercely tweeting about it. In April 2017, singer Sonu Nigam also made such a demand and even at that time Javed supported him. Javed now wrote in his tweet, 'It was forbidden to offer loudspeakers in India for almost 50 years, but then it became halal and so halal that there is no end to it. But, it must end. No problem with Azaan, but loudspeakers cause a lot of inconvenience to others. I hope at least this time they will do it themselves.

Azaan is the most beautiful way to invite someone to pray and follow the right path of life. While replying to the user on his tweet, Akhtar wrote, 'So do you want to say that the Islamic scholars who declared loudspeakers almost 50 years ago were all wrong and did not know what they were about? are talking. If you have the courage then say so, then I will tell you the names of all those Islamic scholars.

In April 2017, singer Sonu Nigam had also opposed the use of loudspeakers in all kinds of places, raising the issue of Azaan on loudspeakers. He had tweeted many. He wrote in his tweet, 'God bless everyone. I am not a Muslim but even then I have to wake up early in the morning with the voice of Azaan. When the religiousness of this force will end in India. I am also not at all a supporter of any temple or gurudwara using electricity to lift people who do not follow their religion. Then why? Hooliganism is just that.
