Javed Jaffrey is one of the renowned actors and comedians in Bollywood. The actor became famous for his strong acting and voice. Javed Jafri was born on 4 December 1963. Javed Jaffrey's father is a well-known comedian Jagdeep. Javed has made a place in the hearts of people with his acting skills in many films. Javed Jaffrey never used the name of his father Jagdeep Jaffrey (Sholay's Soorma Bhopali) as he does not have a good relationship with his father because of his habit of drinking and gambling kept him away from Javed.

Javed has lent his voice in cartoons like Mikki Mouse, Don Carnage. In the same Japanese show Takeshi Karsal show, his voice has been much liked. The actor is also known for his dancing skills. He also appeared as a judge on the popular reality TV dance show Boogie Woogie. In terms of career, he made a lot of progress. The show changed his life. The actor is a part of the show for 16 years .  Javed along with his brother Naved and Ravi Bhel judged show Boogie Woogie, which made him very popular.

His personal life always remained in limelight. Javed married to Jeba Bakhtiar (Henna Actress) in 1989, but they got divorced after just a year. Javed Jaffrey married actress Zeba Bakhtiar in 1989, but a year later in 1990, the couple separated. After this Javed married Habiba Jafri in 1991. In the year 2014, Javed joined the Aam Aadmi Party while stepping into politics. In the Lok Sabha elections, he also contested from the same party on the Lucknow seat, in which he was defeated by senior BJP leader Rajnath Singh.

Javed Jaffrey has been associated with advertising since 1980 as a model, choreographer, copywriter, producer and director. He has appeared in the comical Maggi Hot & Sweet Sauce commercials for 25 years. Jaffrey hosted Big Googly on BIG 92.7FM created with Paritosh Painter. He has featured in various film. His performance in Dhamal is one of the best performances of his career.
