Recently, top javelin throwing athlete Sundar Singh Gurjar recovered from the shoulder injury and won the gold medal in the World Para Athletics Championship.  Thanks to his best performance of the season. Sundar won the gold medal with a throw of 61.22 meters. With this, India has also secured three quota for the 2020 Tokyo Paralympic Games.

Let us tell you that Gurjar won Gold in 2013 in Leon and Silver in 2015 Doha Championship. According to the information received earlier on Friday, Indian para-athlete Sandeep Chaudhary won the gold medal in the joint F-42-64 category in the javelin throw event. Sandeep was also able to set a world record in the F-44 category with a throw of 66.18 meters in his second attempt. In addition, his throw also earned him a berth in the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics.

On the other hand, Sumit Antil won the silver medal in his second attempt with a best throw of 62.88 meters. Even Sumit's throw became a world record in the F-64 category. The previous world record was also named after him, which was 61.32 meters. Both Sandeep and Sumit have made their respective berths in the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics with the top-4.
