Jawa Motorcycles will introduce its lineup bikes Jawa and Jawa 42 bike line-up with larger and more powerful engine. The engine coming in both these bikes will generate 30.4 PS peak power and 31 Nm torque. Both of these Java motorcycles will get the 334cc engine of the recently launched Jawa Perak Bobber that meets the BS6 emission norms. If sources are to be believed, the Jawa and Jawa42 bikes are currently coming with a 293cc engine. Both these bikes will give 3PS more power and 3Nm more torque with 334cc engine. The company may later upgrade the existing 293cc engines of Jawa and Jawa42 to BS6 standard. Java motorcycles with more powerful engines will come on the market in mid-2020. It is possible that no further changes can be made in these two bikes.
It is worth noting that at present, the ex-showroom price of Jawa and Jawa42 motorcycles is 1.64 lakh and 1.55 lakh rupees respectively. Models coming with bigger and more powerful engines can cost Rs 15-20 thousand more. The company recently launched the Jawa Perak bobber in the Indian market. The ex-showroom price of this powerful motorcycle is Rs 1.94 lakh. The bike comes to the market exactly one year after it was showcased at the Java brand launch in 2018. The Jawa Perak bobber bike is about Rs 5,000 more expensive than the original price of Rs 1.89 lakh (announced a year ago at this price). Booking of this Java bike will start from January 1 next year and delivery is expected to start from April 2.
