Yes, the actor recently talked about it and he is happy that his wife and actress Mahi Vij is about to become a mother. In the conversation, Jay said, "No matter whether a boy will be born or a girl, he is hoping that his first child will be a girl." On the other hand, Jay further said, "No relationship can be as comforting as the father-daughter relationship and I wish my wife give birth to a lovely baby girl."

Yes, during the shoot for reality show Superstar Singer Jay Bhanushali talked about it and said, "No matter what boy or girl and it's not like that boy happened then I don't like it but I like it together. Because I have seen a father-son relationship with my father. So now that I'm going to have a baby, I wish she'd have a daughter so that I could experience this relationship," said Jay, adding, "In today's time, daughter is no less than anybody. His wife Mahi still takes care of her parents in the same way she used to put before marriage," he said.
